Public Workshops

We offer many hands-on workshops to education the public on how to use Myofascial Release in their self-care practice. Several of these workshops address specific conditions commonly seen in every day life, as well as learning the Unwinding process and simple healing techniques.

Using MFR in our self-care practice helps to access our body’s connective tissue to help release physical and emotional holding patterns. Once these patterns are released, we can begin to heal on a more authentic and core level.

Healing Arthritis
3 hours

This workshop teaches gentle MFR techniques on how to ease the pain of Arthritis. Fascia balls are used, as well and elongation and gentle rotation techniques.


Healing Neck Pain
3 hours

This workshop teaches MFR techniques to release not only neck pain, but the areas of the body that also contribute to neck pain. In this workshop, we use several different kinds of balls and massage tools to find which ones work best for each individual.

Required Materials: Cotton scarf or long pillowcase.


Healing Headaches
3 hours

This workshop includes a brief lecture on the different types of headaches and what parts of the body contribute to each type. The hands-on portion includes MFR techniques as well as some CranioScaral techniques. There are several massage tools used in this class so students can determine which tools work best for them.


Healing Low Back Pain
3 hours

This workshop teaches MFR techniques and stretches focused on relieving low back pain. Also included are abdominal releases, as the abdomen is the front of the low back. Several different kinds of balls are used in this workshop, as different parts of the body respond better to different balls.


Healing Pelvic Pain
3 hours

This workshop teaches MFR techniques for one of the most common conditions – pelvic and hip pain. Also included are psoas releases, as the psoas is one of the main muscles for pelvic function. Several different kinds of balls are used in this workshop, as different parts of the body respond better to different balls.


Healing Shoulder Pain
3 hours

This workshop teaches MFR techniques to release not only shoulder pain, but the areas of the body that also contribute to shoulder pain. In this workshop, we use several different kinds of balls and massage tools to find which ones work best for each individual.

Healing TMJ Pain
3 hours

This workshop teaches MFR techniques and stretches focused on relieving jaw pain and TMJ dysfunctions. Also, included is discussion of the emotions of the jaw – mostly anger. Fascia balls are used in this workshop, as well as several hands-on techniques.


Unwinding Workshop
3 hours

Participants of this workshop will learn how to use Myofascial Unwinding to release pain and discomfort in the following areas:

  • Neck
  • Shoulders
  • TMJ
  • Back
  • Arms
  • Hands
  • Legs
  • Hips
  • Low back

Healing Circles
3 hours

This is our custom workshop, designed for the needs of your particular group. This could include a focus on any part of the body or condition like Fibromyalgia, and include physical, emotional and even spiritual techniques for personal healing growth.
